Golf Club at Terra Lago, formerly Landmark Golf Club, is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Indio, California. The facility has two 18 hole courses, they are The North Course at Terra Lago and The South Course at Terra Lago.
The courses opened for play in 1999. They were designed by Landmark Golf Company.
Constructed in a desert links-style design, both courses feature hilly terrain. The narrow, rolling fairways open to ample greens, offering slight undulation and subtle breaks.
The North Course __________
The North Course features dramatic elevation changes, stunning views, and a beautiful and challenging island green par 3 which was a featured hole during the Skins Games played at The Golf Club at Terra Lago.
The view from the 7th tee box is considered one of the best in the valley, from there you have a complete panoramic view from one end of the Coachella Valley to the other.
The signature hole is #3, a 363-yard, par 4, which sits at the highest point on the course, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding desert and, as mentioned, an island green.
The par-72 North Course measures 7,060 yards (Rating 73.7 / slope 137) from the championship tees, but with 4 sets of tees to play from players of all skill levels can find their game. The North Course measures 5,067 yards (Rating 69.7 / slope 124) for women and the forward tee boxes eliminate many of the forced caries required from the other tee boxes.

Get rid of all the rabbits, there is crap everywhere, worse than ducks and geese. The is absolutely no shade, plant some trees around the tees and greens.

Anytime a course is not well maintained or are having issues, "that's NOT good". Let me start over by saying this course is a GEM. But I'm not sure what the course's challenges are up against because both the North and South course's holes on its southwestern part of their properties are struggling. It's been like that for MANY years now, and they can't correct it. It isn't so much that it is not playable, but it's just an eyesore after eyesore on those holes, and you wonder what you just paid for as you go by them. The good news is that it gets better the rest of the holes. We love both the North and the South course of Terra Lago, they are equally fun to me. Most people would prefer the North, yes it's pretty and good, but the South is just as well. There are some holes that you may find your self up top of a hill tempting you to drive the green (ahhh...), par 3s that are just to kill for in the way it's set up, long par 5s, bunkerings in strategic places, but be ware of the junk. There are holes you may apply power, but NOT all of them. Great tracks. . . Enjoy!

Great views, especially from several elevated tee boxes. I found several fairways to be pretty chewed up for April, but the greens were in good shape. Pace was 5+ hours...they really need to have more marshalls on the course.

No real wind on day I played which can really change how this course plays....Played from white tees and scored 5 strokes under my 15 handicap...White tees are a little short with almost 700 yards added for the next set blue(gold) because wind was down and most 4 pars around 350 3 woods and smooth drivers made fairways easy to hit leading to easy to hit greens that rolled very true, you get speed right and you would have to work to 3 putt. Course was really fun with the wind down as I understand this part of desert can really get wind. Check weather, if wind is down you can really have a good round on this course....and if you want more challenge just drop back a tee box or two.
